What A Cold Christmas We Had
I know it has been a while since I have been here but will fill in what happened and looking forward to a great 2011. We had decided to go to Atlanta for Christmas with our grand children, plane tickets were purchased and we were packed and ready to head for the airport, then the news came, our flight had been delayed, we waited patiently but then we go the news that our flight had been canceled until the next day at noon.
Next day we waited for news and none came, so we made a decision to have breakfast at the airport and wait there, which we did and we finally did get on a plane. We got the exit seats which gave us more foot room but that exit door was collecting ice inside the glass and I was there wrapped up as much as I could be and still chilled air came through. I closed the shade hoping that would make it better, only darker not warmer!
We arrived at dark and it was so cold and the wind was blowing, we stood outside waiting for our family to drive up and finally they made it and we all got into a warm car..
The children had decided to wait for us to open their gifts. The fire was burning and the tree was lite and we were thrilled that we finally did get there. We opened out gifts and had a wonderful visit until bed time.
Next morning I woke with a terrible sore throat, gargled with warm salt water, had a cup of coffee, banana, took my medicine and went back to bed, and so it went for 6 days.
We left for home on new year and I slept all the way off and on on the plane.
Arrived home, turned on heat, went to bed and only got up to take medicine and go back to bed, I made a promise to my sister, that next year I would take a flu shot. She takes them every year and has never had the flu. My Dr will be very happy!
This is day 10 of the new year and I have only been out of the house twice, have never been this sick with the flu, hard to get my energy back.
So now that we have started a new year, I will have more to post, please stay tuned!

Tinker Bell Costumes Plus More
and below is the story behind these sites. :)
I just started a new project, :) Yes , it is true and I have been trying very hard to make it right. My instructor guided me all the way, you would not think I had enough between my eyes to go it alone, do you ?. :) All kidding a side it has been a hard one for me but I was obsessed with it, wake up at very unusual hours of the night and stagger up the stairs with a new idea, something I knew I had to try. Of course the last thing I needed was for my computer to crash. I was infected with spy ware that had me chomping at the bit. I finally have it fixed, I hope! I was in the middle of doing this post when it really kicked in and I was helpless. This is my first contact with this Blog since that happened.! So being a newbie is hard, especially when she said you will need to do this in a week, took me much longer than a week, think it took me 4 weeks. before the computer crash.
When you consider how slow I am, because this is all so new, I must keep telling my self how well I did! :)

Tinker Bell and Her Friends
Fairy Tale Costumes
Fairy tale costumes began their popularity when Disney Studios started making fairy tale movies, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Beauty and The Beast to name a few. Wearing Mothers high heel shoes, hats, and dressers use to be as close to fairy tale costumes as we got, Now we see lovely fairy tale costumes that can be used for little girl's “play like” time along with tea sets, play dishes and kitchens.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released in 1937 and the first in a Walt Disney Animated Classics, with many more to come. The mermaid costume seems to be a little too heavy around toddler's ankles especially when they try to walk, however, it is perfect for babies who can have a little more protection from the cold.
Gone With the Wind was released in 1939, some of Scarlet's lovely outfits were a great influence on future costumes that we see now from toddler's to teens. The Green Velvet dress that was made for her was very vivid in color along with the gold tassels.
I have not seen that dress in my research, only found a Scarlet doll in that costume.
Fairy tale costumes are available also. One I especially liked was Tinker Bell.

New Plants in Aero Garden
I am making plans to plant a new garden, which will be lettuce and basil! First thing I have to do is clear out my pods and wash them to stop any thing growing there to attach to my new garden. :)
The instructions I have received were to wash old pods in dishwasher if I chose, but I think I will wash those by hand with dish soap and water hot as I can stand.
That grow light works wonders under my dark cabinets, that area does not look like the same place. So light and cheery!
