Tinker Bell Costumes Plus More

I love little children and Halloween is around the corner,so Tinker-Tinker-Little- Bell-  was my first one and then I did a second one Fairy Tale Costumes For Boys, stay with me please there is more,of course I had to add another.Fairy Tales Costumes Today, another surprise,Fairy Tales Costumes  and last b not least,Fairytale Storybook Costumes, take a look at these and you will be able to see how much fun they are
and below is the story behind these sites. :)
I just started a new project, :)  Yes , it is true and I have been trying very hard to make it right. My instructor guided me all the way, you would not think I had enough between my eyes to go it  alone, do you ?. :)  All kidding a side it has been a hard one for me but I was obsessed with it, wake up at very unusual hours of the  night and stagger up the stairs with a new idea, something I knew I had to try. Of course the last thing  I needed was for my computer to crash. I was infected with spy ware that had me chomping at the bit. I finally have it fixed, I hope! I was in the middle of doing this post when it really kicked in  and I was helpless. This is my first contact with this Blog since that happened.!  So being a newbie is hard, especially when she said you will need to do this in a week, took me much longer than a week, think it took me 4 weeks. before the computer crash.
When you consider how slow I am, because this is all so new, I must keep telling my self how well I did! :)

Happy Halloween. Stayed tuned  for more!

Tinker Bell and Her Friends

Fairy Tale Costumes

Fairy tale costumes began their popularity when Disney Studios started making fairy tale movies, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Beauty and The Beast to name a few. Wearing Mothers high heel shoes, hats, and dressers use to be as close to fairy tale costumes as we got, Now we see lovely fairy tale costumes that can be used for little girl's “play like” time along with tea sets, play dishes and kitchens.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released in 1937 and the first in a Walt Disney Animated Classics, with many more to come. The mermaid costume seems to be a little too heavy around toddler's ankles especially when they try to walk, however, it is perfect for babies who can have a little more protection from the cold.

Gone With the Wind was released in 1939, some of Scarlet's lovely outfits were a great influence on future costumes that we see now from toddler's to teens. The Green Velvet dress that was made for her was very vivid in color along with the gold tassels.
I have not seen that dress in my research, only found a Scarlet doll in that costume.

Fairy tale costumes are available also. One I especially liked was Tinker Bell.

I found a few and will list those here:.

1-Butterfly Fairy Costume
2-Candy Corn Fairy Child
3-Snow Fairy Queen
4-Pink Fairy Costume
5-Deluxe Angel Toddler
6-Sugar Plum Fairy Child
7-Spring Fairy Child
8-Foliage Fairy Green Child
9-Fairy Tale
10- Tinker Bell

Halloween will be here soon, It is a very exciting time for the children, buying candy that is low fat and low sugar will be in my plan, and keeping the children safe.
Enjoy your costume shopping.

New Plants in Aero Garden

I am making plans to plant a new garden, which will be lettuce and basil! First thing I have to do is clear out my pods and wash them to stop any thing growing there to attach to my new garden. :)

The instructions I have received were to wash old pods in dishwasher if I chose, but I think I will wash those by hand with dish soap and water hot as I can stand.

That grow light works wonders under my dark cabinets, that area does not look like the same place. So light and cheery!

Please stay tuned..

Dixie and Those Tiny Biddies

Dixie and Those Tiny Chicks

I have decided to go for another learning curve. Can you imagine any one getting involved with those cute little fuzzy biddies on the internet? I was told about this by one of my friends I met on the internet. So here I go again and thinking will I be able to learn this, and inside saying to my self, "I Can," what a thought for me to have while still working on my article marketing! I know you would like to know when am I going to tell you ?

Here goes, I signed up for wordpressgold, and have gotten to the point of no return, and will keep working toward setting up a site. It is very challenging but keeps me working and learning wich is the main thing.

I am remembering some things from the farm, Chicken coops came up and I wanted to use that as my first site.

I will keep you posted, stay tuned!

Dixie and Article Marketing: So Much For Time Tables

Dixie and Article Marketing: So Much For Time Tables

So Much For Time Tables

Today is Sunday and I wanted to post about breaking my rules that I talked about in another post about getting into overload and how to handle it but look what happens when I talk right off the top of my head!

I was involved with another project, would you believe, I went to work, in the real world,:) working in my daughter's bookkeeping service. She needed help as she is over loaded with clients. So I worked for about week and plus some days to post checks and deposits. Quiet a project as she was under Internal Revenue deadline.
This Client really needed help.

Best part is I actually made money.

She is well respected in her field and has clients in Atlanta also.

But while I was working at a real job, I neglected my Internet marketing goals..woe is me! :) Hope I can balance this so I will be able to do both.

My poor mind did need a rest, I was bogged down and could not move forward.

I started this as almost apologizing for my tardiness and here I go talking about my other job!

Have a wonderful Sunday and I will make effort to not break any more of my rules.

Will post again, soon..

Email is Today and Every Day- Buy,Buy

I declare, I cannot read all this email. Am I the only one with this problem?

They will say try this free and that free but then they come back and give you a price at the very end!

If I took as much time as it would take to read all that mail, I would not have any time left to get any thing done. So I am in the process of unsubscribing, but even that takes time and I do a few a day!

Today I opened one from some who said, "Dixie I noticed you are not opening my mail, have I done something to offend you ?" Now how could I ignore that? So, you see when you have soft heart, you can be your own worse enemy, now do not take this seriously, as I am not serious!

I could use that time to be involved in more constructice projects!

Still Working as A Newbie in Internet Marketing

I am still trying to learn more about Internet marketing and what a rocky road it can be some times.

Every little pebble we over turn a bigger one turns up and your brain feels numb and just cannot handle any more, then you start to make mistakes, then you must learn to fix those error's which has doubled your work load.

Now I have come to a decision and hope I can live by it!

  • Number one: Take your time
  • Number two: Do not put the cart before the horse, as this is when you make mistakes.
  • Number four: Take a deep breath and remember tomorrow is another day.
  • Number five: Do not fight with your self when it is time to shut down and move on to something else.
  • Number six: Please do not keep trying the same thing over and over when it is not working for you . (I am guilty of this )
  • Number seven: If you have some one to talk to about your frustrations, please do, new suggestions from some one else can be a big help and soothe your injured ego!
  • Number eight: when you reach a point where you are dreading to turn on your computer, then don't, just give your mind a rest.
  • Number nine: Do some looking around for new information that can help you.
  • Number ten: Refresh your self for a couple of days and then try again.

Hope you will get at least one idea from above list?

Will be posting again soon, stayed tuned!

Garden in My Kitchen

My decision to purchase and try out the Aerogarden was made with hesitation, but I wanted to grow some lettuce, basil, tomatoes, and bell peppers. So not knowing any better, I proceeded to plant lettuce, small tomatoes and bell peppers all at the same time.

Then I learned that the plants had to be compatible, fruits with fruits and leafy vegetables with same kind.

Also learned when my tomatoes were too high and started to burn the leaves that I had to prune them and keep them low. I was so sad to cut off all that beautiful growth, and after that the tomatoes were pruned to the best of my ability they lost some of their fullness and were not a sight that brought pleasure and enthusiasm, but I read all the reviews and knew I needed to learn more about this growing process.

I next problem was how to get a bee in the house to pollinate my blossoms. :) I had all these beautiful blooms on tomatoes and bell peppers but they just fell off and I called Aerogarden and they said to shake them gently, which I did but it did not help. I removed the tomatoes and the the bell peppers for a new crop.

I am going to plant lettuce and basil. Basil is wonderful to cook with and makes a delightful salad.

I sent my son one for his birthday as he loves to cook, he has really enjoyed using the basil in some of his recipes, it grew so fast and he said it was nothing like the basil we buy in markets, he has another crop now and is going to buy another one.

I really enjoy watching the plants grow and they brighten up an dark corner you could have in your kitchen or other rooms, all you need is electrical outlet and be able to water it when you need to and add nutrients.

Arizona the Land of Milk and Honey

The Land of Milk and Honey

When we relocated to the land of milk and honey, (Arizona) I actually thought it was the most unsightly place I had ever seen. The heat, the sand, the wind, The summers were unbearable if you had to go outside for a period of time, but the winters were delightful! Our Children loved it and now so do I, it is our home.

Arizona has a few cold days and quiet a few cold nights, and we have many people here for the winter from cold parts of the country and other parts of the world, we refer to these people as “snow birds” :) Some buy a retirement home here and the rumor is, If you live in Arizona you will live longer! :)

One thing that is hard for older folks to understand, when you go out during the day shopping, you will see younger people in shorts and tank tops while you are wearing sweats! The young children go to school with bare arms. I have never understood that and want to get them a sweater or jacket :)

I think the ideal way to live in Arizona is to have a home in the valley and a home in the mountains, where the air is clean, skies are even more clear and beautiful and they have lakes for fishing. They do sell little plots of land to build on and some people are building small module cabins there and they are quiet nice and not an eye sore to observe . The people are warm and friendly.

Home of the Diamondbacks ball club and a park that has a personality of it's own!

Food court, restaurants swimming pool, chefs, white table cloths, the food is outstanding but very pricey! Television's all around on the walls, so you won't miss the action while you enjoy lunch or dinner. If you buy tickets in the best section, you will be able to have those V.I.P. facilities at your disposal.

New Friends as You Travel On the Internet

I have never met  the lady who helped me so much and relieved me of some of my fear of failure or looking silly and ignorant, she has changed the way I look at article marketing and finally after a year or more of looking and sitting on the side lines, I read One Week Marketing and tried some things that I would have never touched before and that is why I am here now passing on what has happened to me for the last 2 years. I followed her steps one by one, however, when I purchased One Week Marketing, I read it but when it came to writing my first article, I quit, stuck it on my C  drive some where and starting looking all over again,:) But it came around again on a blog I was on and I seamed to see things that I missed before.

When you are trying to learn new idea's and skills on the Internet high way, It is hard to really put your trust in any one for a long time, but when you meet just one or two who you trust then things seem to change, and you start breathing easier again.

Do your self a favor and click on the the link One Week Marketing  and read the first 18 pages, as those are free and then give it a try, be the best thing you can do for your self!  Try it you will love it!

Stay tuned for more to come: I will be keeping you posted on my results.

Happy and joyful  time with your little ones on Halloween!

I will have some things to share as I learn how to create links,:)

I will be posting soon, stay tuned :)

Dixie and Article Marketing: My Experience as a Newbie in Internet Marketing

Dixie and Article Marketing: My Experience as a Newbie in Internet Marketing

My First Aero Garden

I know that when spring shows up, and the birds are singing, a young mans heart turns to love, so my Grandma told me, :) but my heart turns to flowers and things that are growing, trees, flowers and any thing green!

I decided to grow my own herbs and small tomatoes, then I had a thought that if these did well then I may buy another one for lettuce!

When I received my package, I decided to try some of my own seeds, instead of the three herbs that came with it. I had a package of organic bell peppers, new package of tiny tomatoes and another package of lettuce. My thought pattern was that if these did not work out I would try some thing else!

The picture at the top of the page are the organic bell peppers.

I learned in the process that the lettuce was not compatible with the tomatoes and the bell peppers. It seems that the vegetable's must be of the same kind, fruits like tomatoes and bell peppers can be planted together! I pulled up what was left of the lettuce, washed the holders and I planted some more tomatoes and they came up in three days.

In the meantime I learned that if you let the plants grow too tall and touch the grow lamp they will burn, so you must prune them and keep them short!

I really was sad to cut off all of those lovely green leaves, but was told that in two weeks I would not be able to see where I have cut them.

The steams are much thicker now and they are growing back as I was told.

My Experience as a Newbie in Internet Marketing What have I learned?

My big surprise was a blog I did on biddies  and how to build a chicken coop the simple way, and our life on the farm as I remembered .

This site is bringing me traffic, but I did not and do not have a product for it. The reality of this is, I thought that was the worse site any one  could ever do and I was ashamed for any one to see it. :)  A friend,  who has helped me a lot, said to me, that some things you think will work, will not and on the other hand, sites you may think are terrible will take off like wild fire, this site did not take off like a ball of fire but it is getting traffic daily and I am thinking what am I going to do with it.

This is just another learning curve to this fascinating article marketing business, but it hurts, and you feel that you are not learning it as fast as you should, but my brain is old and moves slower so I must just move along at my snail pace and be happy just to get something to work! :)

Merry Christmas

Stay Tuned for more !

My experience in Internet Marketing really has lifted my spirits the last six months or so, as I have met some people who have been and inspiration to me and all of a sudden, I seem to be able to understand it a little better, but not out of the woods by no means!

Writing articles scared me to death, and I just stopped (breathing almost) but now I finally took the bull by the horns, so to speak and wrote one that was accepted and published, Now I ask you is that a *gonga or what? :)*

I think the that rocky road you will walk will be "look here" look there" "today you need to buy this" "buy that"! Whew, drive you crazy and people with limited income trying to learn how to earn, if they are not careful , will be sold the golden goose that when it lands is not gold but brown instead and worthless.

My mind was so bogged down with all of the information that I reached a point where I could not think straight, and after being burned a few times, was afraid to believe any one!

I knew in my heart, there must be a better way to learn how to build sites, and write articles!

I think the most important thing I can think of, is "do not give up" keep working and trying until some things clicks and you will be on a smoother road than before but will still have bumps here and there, good days and bad days, but if you keep trying you will find one little thing that you understand, it is  like putting a puzzle together, or eating an elephant, one bite at a time!.

Another problem I had, I could not put together a plan. I could not write down what I was going to do tomorrow, as soon as my head hit the pillow, it was like a light bulb came on. but by that time I could not get out of bed, turn on the lights walk up stairs and start working again, so I would lie there wide awake until three A.M.  One night I woke at 2:30  and started back to work on my laptop until about 4:30 In the morning!

So if you identify with any of these problems just wanted you to know that you are not alone.
It was so exciting to learn how to finally try some thing that really worked! Even thought I am still in that big learning curve and work slower then most, I am very dogmatic about one bite at a time and will continue to nibble on that elephant  until he is gone or I am! :)

I just wanted to say that these are all newbie website and lens, but if I can do this so can you, and I am going back to do more! And computer skills, have I little, started to say none, but do have a few skills...I can open email..:) I am sure these look like novice starters but I worked a long time and had a lot of help along the way.
Do you see that Beaver at the top of this post, and have you heard some one say "I've been working like a beaver, if you would like to find out more about this beaver, which gave me more help than any I have had in about 2 years.
* Gonga is considered a great buy or a great deal. The mostest for the leastest..:)
I will be posting more soon, stay tuned! :)
